Vladyslava Magaletsk

Vladyslava Magaletska is a Former Deputy Minister of Food and Agriculture of Ukraine and Former Head of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection. She holds a PhD in Cybernetics from the Taras Shevchenko National University, and is an Alumnus of the Emerging Leaders Program of Harvard University. Vladyslava was a Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Head of State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection (30,000 employees), Vice-President at SigmaBleyzer (1+bn$ US fund) and AgroGeneration. She also was Vice-President of the Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs (the largest association of the Ukrainian entrepreneurs) and Member of the National Council of Reform. Vladyslava successfully led reforms at the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection, the largest state service in Ukraine, 30,000+ employees –transformation into a modern, transparent and convenient service that protects the state, business and consumers. She opened over 35 export markets for Ukranian exporters and improved transparency of such areas as state supervision sanitary legislation compliance, food safety, digitalization, state regulation of prices for certain goods, phytosanitary, quality control and safety of school meals, consumer rights protection, etc. As Vice-President at SigmaBleyzer (1+bn$ US fund) and AgroGeneration (major agri company), she was a key member of the executive team and lead acquisitions and value increase in the top players across various business sectors, including the leading cable TV provider, agricultural producer and oil and gas exploration companies. After 2014 EuroMaidan revolution Vladyslava has devoted the two years to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, where she, during the most difficult time for Ukraine, was a Deputy Minister of European Integration. Her main focus was development of the Strategy and Action Plan of the Ministry, opening new markets, development and implementation of various projects, and cooperation with international institutes. Mrs. Magaletska was a strong advocate for improving the investment and business climate in Ukraine, and was focused on accelerating privatization, reforming public administration, and attracting foreign direct investment to Ukraine to support economic growth.
